I just finished this digital collage for Mind Wide Open. PLEASE go and peek at all the fabulous entries once they are posted! I can't wait to see how everyone else interpreted the theme and also how they incorporated the image. It was really fun to do and I truly enjoyed the challenge. Thank you so much Gail for hosting this!
I have been working just in digital format lately as I do not have the ability right now to pull out 'real' art supplies. It is very flexible and lots of fun! If you are interested in the elements I used please check out these sites for lots of great images!

What a talent you are Abbie! I would love to be able to create something like that. I imagine it being so much fun ..... and something that you can lose many hours doing ! HA! :-) Rosie
THAT is so cool! You've made me think I want to go back and try my hand at digital again. Can I ask, what software are you using?
I'm currently using Photoshop and LOVE it. It took me awhile to figure it out and I still have lots to learn!
:)
Abbie,
This is so lovely. And is a perfect example of why I bestowed a blog award on you today!
Come visit and see!
Abbie,
Your entry is awesome! I so admire those who have the know how to work with digital art, I am not one of them. I'd love to learn, maybe someday.
Wow! Beautiful! You are such a talented artist, Miss Abbie!
I absolutely loved this - it struck me the minute I saw it posted at Gails!
Absolutely gorgeous! I've been working digitally a lot lately and I'm having a blast. I love how you blend your layers. So often my work is very controlled and too "clean." I'm breaking open though. Photoshop makes for a wonderful play. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
It`s really a gorgeous piece, Abbie! Wonderful work!
Abbie, this is FABULOUS! I'm trying to play with more digital graphics ... in my spare time! ha! :) Thanks for your welcome back ... I couldn't stay away. :)

Great design. Wonderful colours! I love it!
Thanks for sharing the sites.
Abbie, your creation is wonderful. I really admire those who can do the digital thing. I would love to be able to use my Photoshop this way. All the tutorials I read are confusing and may as well be in French!
looks great!:0))
Abbie,

I love this. Wonderful work!
I love your images! Kudos to you for figuring out Photoshop..I'm still trying. Maybe this winter I can spend some time with it. I wish there was just a class I could attend to learn how to manipulate images. Congrats for your wonderful creations and for sharing with all of us. Peggy from PA
