Letting your baby fly..

~Kirpal Singh

" Each one of us is unique in his own way. There is a divine purpose behind the life of everyone who comes into the world; No one has been created for nothing. We have something to learn from everyone. This is the mystery of humility."

Today Zack went for an all-day interview at a private school. It sounds stuffy but really it is not. The school is an Ashram located in the rural countryside of NH. He was, to say the least, a bit hesitant to be left alone for the entire day but once there he settled in like a bee on a flower. I'm am truely excited for my son. I think that he will do fine wherever he is put, but this opportunity is rare. He is a marvelous child and given the right environment, could really do something great for humanity. I know I am speaking highly, but don't we all have grand hopes for our children? I wish him peace within himself and to be happy. Truely happy with his life. We only have one but one brief stay here, and to waste it in misery would be a shame.

"The chief malady of current education is that it results in the disassociation of heart and head. It lays emphasis on the development of head, and does sharpen the intellect to some extent. But more essential is the liberation of the heart. That will be done when the reason is awakened in sympathy for the poor, the weak and the needy. Sacrifice grows out of the heart, so the heart is required to be unfolded." -Kirpal Singh
