Now, we are having another 12" to 18" fall today. We are precariously balancing our sanity with the thankfulness that we still have power. 25 thousand in NH have been without it for over a week now.
I'm thinking that perhaps I'll BBQ. Burgers on the grill anyone?
As I type, the wind and snow is swirling around the house so quickly that I can't see the grill on the deck anymore. Maybe I'll skip the burgers tonight.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. I went and hid there yesterday for a moment to get away from the two housebound, stir crazy, wild eyed monsters that were once my sweet little girls.
Hope everyone else is surviving!

Wow...love the pic of your home...could be a screensaver or wallpaper...so pretty! Susan
Beautiful pictures! I agree with Susan, your home is lovely!
Isn't it beautiful? Beautiful and cruel sometimes. I'm doing pretty good and I hope that you are, too, Sweet Abbie!
Wow...that's a lot of snow! We got ice in Indiana on Thursday night, and I just now lost power at home. I'm sending this from work. It's horribly cold and windy outside! If my power doesn't come back on soon at home, I'll have to find a place to sleep tonight so I don't freeze!
Bbrrrrrr, I'm feeling cold just looking at it all. Actually, I think I said this last year too, I'm envious because I want just one good snow. The pics are breath taking Abbie. I hope you are staying warm and doing well!
xoxo
Oh My Goodness. All that snow is so pretty. I'm glad that you still have power and hope you continue to do so. I bet it was so quite in the woods when you were hiding.
Abbie : ) Your home looks beautiful! Good to know that there are other mothers dealing with stir crazed wild eyed monsters that were once sweet lil children. Hope you are well and being able to be creative some. Lisa D.

I know it's a trial, but it does look SO pretty! We only have about three inches on the ground right now. Your house is so beautiful, Abbie. that picture looks like a New Hampshire postcard!
Hang in there, stay warm, and have a wonderful Christmas!
xoxo,
Mary

Wow, that is right, what a wonderful Christmas gift! I sure hope you still have power, I heard about the bad snow falls last night in the news in the north of the US.....
Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos! I enjoyed them all, we have the totally opposite of weather, mild and not white at all!
I wish you and your family great time together! And hope your girls are taking it easy on you...I have two wild ones here too..........
Smiles and hugs, Anke ;)
Here in Texas we NEVER see a site like this!!!! WOW!!!! Be careful & stay warm. The stir crazy, wild eyed monsters could freeze or better yet, you will hiding from them. :)
Merry Christmas!
Oh my gosh Abbie. That is a lot of snow but it looks so perfect. Keep warm :)
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Incredible! It is hot summer here in New Zealand! And it doesn't snow where I am in the winter anyway!!! Just beautiful.
Oh my heavens! This is a GORGEOUS homestead! I SO miss snow and winter. We don't really get anything like this in Dallas. We're lucky if we even get 1 day of snow! You've done such a beautiful job, Abbie, of capturing the beauty of nature at your home! Thanks for sharing!
what an amazing site. I never see anything like this in Southern California. I bet things were beautiful once the snow melted. can you share photos of spirng time or summer time in NH.
