Oh, my. I can not believe how long it has been since I have posted! Let's catch up.. hmmm.. sick. Yep. A brutal spring cold has worked its way through the house and is now settled soundly into my mother in law and me. so, as I type I am panting through my mouth as I hate having my nose plugged. Ok, enough whinning. It is as if that is all there is to do right now. Spring has finally arrived and it is wonderful! (even through my Sudafed fog..) I spent atleast an hour outside yesterday and today cleaning, raking, and enjoying. Alas, we are suppose to get more snow tonight or tomorrow. I have plans to take the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt and also to meet 'The Bunny'. I don't know what I'm going to use as a bribe for good behavior once Easter has past.

"You better listen to Mommy or the Easter Bunny won't come!"

My almost four year old told me today, "Where is the Easter Bunny? He can't
see me."

My response, "Well, I'll call him and tell him not to come."

My daughter, "Bunnies can't talk Mom..."

Oh, good grief. It works with Santa! But I suppose he is a person and can speak.

I hope that everyone out there is having a lovely weekend, enjoy your family, health and the weather! (whatever it may be..) I'll be back once my creativity strikes again.
In case you weren't with me last year, you can click Click Here for a free fabric egg pattern that I created last spring. It is a fun and easy weekend project!

xoxo~

I love your fabric eggs! I'll have to download those -- my mum and I will have a go with them.

I hope you are doing well. It has been a while since I've had a chance to swing by. What busy lives we do lead!

I have a wonderful tour of Bloglandia that follows a magical map that I drew up in honor of my 1-year blogiversary. The tour includes several stops to all of my favorite people and places. I think you'll recognize a few of them. {wink}

When you swing by be sure to scroll to the end of the tour to learn about my new blog, True North Arts.

Can you feel the buzz?

Show your daughter "Alvin and the Chipmunks." It's my four year olds favorite movie, and then your daughter will know that "of course" bunnies can speak! :-) Happy Easter to you and your family.

Hope your cold goes away super fast. Your children seem delightful, and their comments remind me of my own kiddies. Yesterday, I took them for a picture at Walmart with the "Easter Bunny." My six year old said, "Mommy, he can't be real, he is wearing gloves...and the real Easter Bunny is shy and wouldn't want to sit with all these children." Kids today are just so more advanced than we were!
Happy Easter

Hi Abbie, Happy Easter and lot's of get well wishes your way as well!!!! Sounds like we had the same thing...Lars started and the rest followed, but seemed like I got it the worst....but I'm pretty much back on my feet, one week in pain is definitely enough. Spring has arrived here too and it's like early summer weather already, really nice temperatures. I really enjoy it as much as I can. It was about time to finally see some fresh green again. So I hope you have a wonderful Easter Sunday, we did and I know about that 'calling the easter bunny' too well, had to tell it my son a couple of times too. But he didn't think so far that the Easter bunny is not really talking. You daughter is really smart! So enjoy family time as well and lot's of get well wishes to you and your family, smiles and hugs, Anke ;)
