Our last drive was in October and since we have just gotten a fresh 10-12" of snow I thought we should go out again.. sshhh... The girls are sleeping quietly in their car seats..
The stone doorway above leads to the cellar hole of a very old farmhouse.
Welcome to... hmmm.. New Hamp-shaa...
The pic above is of a fabulous little gem shop down the road abit. Isn't it so cozy, nestled into the trees like that?
The entire drive and journey was so worth this single photo I took of the basketball hoop. I love this image. In fact, I'm damn proud of it. It even has a hint of Christmas in the faded red, white and green. Every now and again something just smacks you as right and makes you feel good. This one really makes me feel good.
I hope you enjoyed our drive into the snowy parts of New Hampshire. We have been completely buried in snow this year, which is quite surprising. This time last year, the grass was still green.

Hi Abbie,
Oh, there is so much beauty right outside your door in NH! The snow looks so pretty and peaceful, but I don't know if I could take several months of it. Love the last picture -- it's a great shot and you should be proud of it!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!
xoxo,
Mary
I so absolutely loved the photos - and you are right - the nestled shop and the basket ball hoop are the ones that caught my eye...that sure is ALOT of snow!!!
Thanks so much for sharing it all - truly beautiful!!
Peace--Ellie
Oh wonderful, winter wonderland! Thanks for sharing those awesome fotos. Love the last one too! Lars is waiting every day for snow, but so far just ice world here, at least someting from winter!
Have fun with J today. :-) She took ME out to dinner last night as much as I tried to talk her out of spending all her money on me. I can't believe how grown up she's becoming. We've done something right with her haven't we?! :-)
Have a wonderful Christmas with your family.
Love,
C.
What a lovely drive..the little shop nestled in the trees is so quaint and you have every right to be proud of that basketball hoop photograph...it's outstanding!
Just love my sister state...so picturesque...so familiar...so much snow!
The hints of color peeking out from the snow, charming, adds warmth, I cannot imagine living in that much snow?
How does one dress and drive in that?
Beautiful pictures Abbie--thanks for sharing. It looks so Christmasy there!
Annie
